Love the composition of this shot -- the way the tree slopes downward and leads your eye into the shot. It's amazing what a different look the black and white gives it, too.
You are so right, in B&W you totally can't tell which decade the photo was taken. Love what you're doing with B&Ws this week! The bronze on that fall foliage is incredible, and your water droplets are stellar (as usual)!
